For this portrait, I was inspired by my model's interesting facial features. I lit my subject from above, giving his already sharp contours even more angularity. The lighting exaggerated the gauntness of his figure, which made for a more interesting portrait. I also loved the folds in his clothing and how they draped around him, giving my subject an overall hollowed-out appearance. The lighting and draping created a captivating character that brought this portrait to life.
