Creating my first three-dimensional piece gave me a new way to understand form and the human body. Working with clay allowed me to physically shape the figure and think about how each part of the body connects and works together. Seeing the human form from every angle helped me better understand proportion, shape, and structure. This changed how I approach drawing the body in my two-dimensional work.
